February 2nd 2020 | You Are What You Eat First Pres Orlando Sermons

Dr. Jack Peebles | We continue our series on living missionally in the ORDINARY rhythms of life. This week, we explore the simple practice of eating. From what we choose to eat to how do we chose to eat it and with whom, eating impacts us in a variety of ways. Food can either serve to the detriment or improvement of our physical health. It also impacts our spiritual health. Food should be received as a gift, is communal in nature, and something for which we should be constantly giving thanks. Like all practices, eating is formational in that it shapes our desires and attitudes. The daily practice of eating points us toward the ultimate food, the Word and sacrament of the Lord’s Supper - the sustenance that always satisfies! Matthew 9:10-13
