The gentleman hijacker is the true story of one of the most daring heists in aviation history. On the day before Thanksgiving 1971, a man carrying a black briefcase boarded a plane in Portland for a short trip north to Seattle. In that briefcase was a bomb, which he used to demand the equivalent of $1.2 million dollars, four parachutes and a couple bourbon sodas before disappearing mid-flight.
