We all have the same goal, don’t we? To live in peace with one another. But to achieve this peace, it requires a better dialogue.
So today, we're going to have one of our most important conversations to-date.
Please join me in welcoming Executive Director Jennifer Miller to Firebuilders LIVE. She is a woman of color, a daughter of two law enforcement officers, a wife of local pastor Thomas Miller, a leader of worship and a women’s Bible study, and a mother of seven, including foster children who are not of color.
She is also the Executive Director of JSM Diversity, whose goal is to improve diversity and inclusion within business culture. Under her direct supervision, companies (Starbucks is one of her clients, fyi) move towards fostering equal opportunities for women, people of color and at-risk youth.
Apart from vocalizing caring, yet powerful suggestions in today’s climate, she is also an inspirational leader. Jenn recently hosted the city of Hendersonville, TN’s first-ever Peace Walk which received incredible reviews throughout Nashville and the surrounding areas. Jennifer is in a unique position to bring ALL the voices to the table and help foster a productive, non-escalated conversation about the societal changes we find ourselves going through. Whether you’re law enforcement, a person of color, or a business owner, she helps us all better understand how we can support each other moving forward.
