I want to challenge them to still believe, to release their faith for the impossible, and not to give up because the God we serve is faithful. The Bible says (Mark 11:24) when we pray, if we believe what we’re asking for, then it is ours." In this episode CeCe reflects on what Black History Month means to her. CeCe states, “It’s a time to celebrate, a time to reflect on all of the great things that people who went before me paved the way for me to be where I am today.” She also talks about her twenty-nine year friendship with the late great Whitney Houston and their smash duet “Count on Me” from the multi-platinum “Waiting to Exhale” soundtrack CeCe was the godmother of Whitney’s daughter, the beautiful Bobbi Kristina. CeCe’s still suffering from this devastating loss, even today. “My heart is still aching because we lost a jewel. We were sisters. We were friends. People don’t realize how amazing Whitney was. She knew she could count on me, and I could count on her.” CeCe also discloses what hurts her the most about losing Whitney too soon. CeCe discusses her TV Show on TBN “Better Together” (real life, real conversations with powerhouse pastors and leaders) and what’s next for this iconic voice. “What’s in my cup today?” CeCe laughs. “Gratefulness. I am so grateful for what He’s already done, and so grateful for what He’s going to do."
