Many times in life we can be exposed to receiving help or instruction that we did not ask for, or it is coming at a time when we are not ready for it. As such, it can come across as interference.
Once that interference is internalized, which we are often first exposed to as kids, we can develop an allergy to it. Teaching something prior to an awareness of the need for it I think can be one of the biggest human flaws that we have.
