We discuss his background, working for Walt Disney World as part of the very first Disney College Program, as well as his very personal inspiration for Homecomin’. Chef shares stories (including some he’s never told before) about working for Oprah, his conversation with (and recommendation for) Disney CEO Bob Iger, lessons learned from Disney, entrepreneurial inspiration, and more. As we share a number of items from the Homecomin’ menu together for a mini-live dining review (I think for the first time dining with the Chef and restaurant founder). I’ll be honest… we just started talking and I let the microphone keep on going. We also talk about the opportunities the shutdown afforded him personally and professionally, his charitable work, and much more.
