Customer Reviews
Wow!
What a smooth podcast! I can not believe I have played all episodes in one shoot already. I will play a couple more times for sure. I think this could be ideally called season one of Cocktail Nation. Well done!
Cocktail Nation is Ultra Swank!
Cocktail Nation is is the the most chic, sophisticated podcast of the choicest retro music on the internet. Koop Kooper plays a varied mix of: jazz vocals, cocktail piano, tiki bar exotica, breezy bossa nova, and movie soundtracks.
I feel honored that Koop has played my albums: Noir, Blue Mood, and Sharing Shearing regularly on his podcasts as well has done personal reviews/interviews for me for COCKTAIL PIANO HOUR series of albums, and my books including THE LOUNGE MUSIC COMPANION and my bios on Les Baxter and Jackie Gleason.
It is an honor to join Cocktail Nation as a guest programmer for the Evenings At the Penthouse Show. I have created a detailed podcast link to many of the Evenings At the Penthouse show on my website: JAMESRSPENCER (dot) COM.
COCKTAIL NATION is a great way to learn about retro music history and the podcast app is a fast way to hear the latest shows. Enjoy .. hipsters.
I always come back to this podcast...
I really enjoy the selection of music on these podcasts . Koop‘s voice is dreamy and relaxing... Its a great podcast to just get out of head for a lil while and daydream about swanky lounges and dapper, well dressed men and women, sipping colorful cocktails and dancing and chatting the night away.
