Ep80: The Shadow Side of Empathy

Ep80: The Shadow Side of Empathy

Everything has a shadow side, yes? Empathy included. We explore empathy through the lens of how it can destabilize an individual, and highlight the value of grounding children and ourselves in the reality of our emotions, our body, and our experience, in contrast to being fixated on how other people are  doing.

Best Play Therapy Pod Cast

I took a contract position working with children in foster care and I am really loving this pod cast. You have deepened my knowledge and understanding of the role of play across the life cycle and have helped shape my practice with children. I am definitely a better practitioner for having heard this information and applied it to my own experiences. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and practice wisdom with us! I would recommend this for any new therapist or therapist who wants to work with children.
