One of My Top Reasons for attending the NHL Alumni Gala for Alzheimers Fundraising was to get a few tips for Young Hockey Players. The Alumni Players were more than happy to get the message out to young players. Even Gordie Howe had a message for the Young Players.

08 NHL Alumni Remember the Passion Gala, Chris Nylan ( Canadiens ) Talks about Dave Shultz (Flyers). One of the reasons for attending the NHL Alumni Gala for Alzheimers is to hear a few old stories about the NHL from back in the day, and Chris Nylan is always entertaining.

The Coach of the HRS Huskies Talks about teamwork and clips of the Shootout Win after Overtime (4-4) tie, against the also impressive Pierrefonds Viscomptes in the Bantam Finals.

Coach Dan McGovern and his son, Goalie, Jeffery McGovern talk about how the Centennials won the Atom Finals. Also on Kim's Corner, hockey Mom and daughter Talk about the Bantam Centennials during their Finals Game and the Importance of the short pass.

Watch this video clip and remember, if you want to score more goals you'll have to pass more.

For the goalies, if you want less goals you'll have to cover-up the puck more often. If you can't cover-up then tell your defense to send the puck to the boards and out of harms way.

Finally, you'll see an Interference/Holding penalty which happens often in non-contact hockey. Defense your much better off playing the puck than intefering with the forward.
