Teach me to listen

They consistently bring such incredible perspective. As a white person of privilege, I am insulated from so much that goes on. I am so appreciative of the opportunity to listen and learn what's going on, and how to take action!

On point!

Bringing perspective this week like a tidal wave! I am hoping for more about the impact of federal legislation on local inequity and the problems with expansion struggling to reach rural areas across the nation regardless of bussing, healthcare, or Rowe v Wade because that appears to be THE BASE we have lost to this administration. This is the issue with Biden’s position even as he stood at the podium. Harris’s prosecution record and decision making has me concerned as well. It was cool to hear her talk about bussing though because I was a white kid who attended high school with mostly people of color where I was educated about what it felt like to be the one that stands out. I have been in the mental health and substance use field for the last 2 decades, working with under served communities... bussing changed my life too!

Thank you so much for this podcast!

Awesome

Insightful conversations and interviews about things that don’t usually get that much coverage in the mainstream media. I wish crooked media could set up a joint podcast with these guys and Jon Jon and tommy, they've had each other on each others shows before, why not make a whole new podcast combining the politics and more surface level stuff with this show that really digs deeper, and is less about politics and more about systems. Don’t get rid of either show, I’d like to see how it could go though.
