Being Authentic Women & the On Purpose podcast

Being Authentic Women & the On Purpose podcast

The lovely Jen Berres or “Jenstar” as she’s known, joins Podcast Therapy to talk about her work, her retreats and how her dance career and journey into yoga led her to assess her self-worth and her own personal growth.
As usual I share the truth about women and how our own “in-fighting” stops our gender from making progress whether that be in relationships or professionally.
We also talk about imposter syndrome, vulnerability and the importance of authentic relationships.

Interview with a Podcaster & Be The Good

Interview with a Podcaster & Be The Good

It’s my pleasure to have Christy McCaffrey on Podcast Therapy.
Christy is a wife, mom to 3, non profit director, speaker, podcast host and writer/producer.
Through the power of the internet, we’re able to converse! Christy in Pennsylvania and I of course in Wisconsin.
We talk about personal growth, whether it’s “woo-woo” or actually self-awareness. And do we dare say we need to dig deeper and be accountable for our own actions as opposed to blaming others? Listen as Christy shares her own personal experiences. You will love this conversation!
Also, I had the privilege of being a guest on Christy’s “Be The Good” podcast. Watch for that episode to air on June 21st!

How You Can Advocate for Small Businesses & The Heist

How You Can Advocate for Small Businesses & The Heist

Shawn Phetteplace joins Podcast Therapy to talk about his work with Main Street Alliance (MSA) and how they lobby for small businesses.
This national organization which was started in 2008 prioritizes the care economy, tax fairness, capital access, anti-monopoly and healthcare.
Locally, the MSA Wisconsin chapter advocates for healthcare, paid leave, and repealing the personal property tax.
We talk politics, generational wealth, red-lining, structural racism, discrimination toward BIPOC-owned businesses, lack of access to capital, market trends and Conan O’Brien! Thank goodness a break from all the serious talk!
(And a quick shout out to the Attitudes podcast and the Asian Not Asian podcast!)

Here’s some trivia: She’s lived in every time zone in the continental United States.

A great listen on your work commute!

Suzanne is a really great host and inspires a natural conversation. I enjoy this podcast because it sounds like really great friends catching up in each episode (easy going) and explores an array of topics! It’s also fun to hear other people’s podcast recommendations.

Suzanne does a great job at setting up her guests to talk. It’s a good balance of hearing who they are and then getting to know them even more through their favorite podcasts! Easy listening 👌
