What a gem!
I just discovered this podcast and have listened to almost every episode. I have learned so much about my neighborhood. Great interviews. Thank you for such a positive and enjoyable listen!
Excellent podcast. I moved to West Seattle a little over a year ago and thought this podcast might be a good way to learn a little micro history and get a sense of place. I had very low expectations because of the hyper local aspect of the podcast. I envisioned a semi-unemployed guy in his garage making a podcast when he wasn’t busy with his coin collection but I was willing to suffer through amateur hour in order to learn. I jumped into the South Park episode and I was so so surprised and impressed. This is engaging, addictive pod casting. If I had walked into a cafe that had this playing I would assume that it was a professional bit on NPR. I don’t know who the guy responsible for this is but nicely done. I’m a subscriber.
Well-produced, hyper-local, interesting and fun
Great show for both West Seattle newcomers and old-timers. I love the combination of interesting interviews and short tidbits of info, all about our local neighborhood. I learn something new from every episode.
