This episode is focused on showcase diversity instead of simply preaching it.

If years of colonial rule conditioned us to view fair-skinned individuals as superior, then we must implement the same methods leaders used to gain official independence to decolonize our mindset and standards of beauty. We are discussing 4 main topics today from why black lives matter significantly to understanding how Muslim black people have been impacted all their lives.

We discuss LQBTQ+ and how colourism is showing up along with racism in the South Asian community.

As a society, we need to demand to bring people of all colour, shapes and sizes into mainstream media that allows people to create their own authentic ideals.

If you've ever wanted to know why Muslims do what they do, Farheen is here to answer all of your curiosities regarding being a Muslim in a Muslim-minority world. She also brings on regular Muslim guests to her own podcast show
