    Introducing: Skyline Drive

    Introducing: Skyline Drive

When Mangesh Hattikudur (Part-Time Genius, Humans Growing Stuff) set out to do a big, sweeping show on astrology, he didn’t realize the first interview would change the course of his life. But as he tries to put his world back together, he realizes the incredible ways astrology presents itself in modern society: from NASA employees who keep their belief in astrology in the closet, to world leaders who’ve used astrologers to guide foreign policy, to moneyball statisticians who use astrology more than statistics to build baseball teams, to a little shop in India where your fortune was written for you centuries ago, and is waiting for you to come claim it. Over the course of 8 episodes, Mangesh tries to decipher why we keep looking to the stars for answers, and what happens when you don’t believe in astrology, but astrology keeps happening to you. ABSOLUTELY TOP TIER

I have listened to some of these episodes so many times that I mutter the dialogue to myself like the script of a favorite movie. Kate and Jacqueline have my heart and a devoted Poog Hag I remain. I know the pod will eventually end as their careers get bigger than this platform but I hope not too soon so we have just a little while longer with them both.

love it BUT

I love poog so so much, but i wish jacqueline would not talk so much about ~dr~ joe dispenza, who is a known grifter. also, when she dives into dieting and restrictive eating, i have to tune out. giving five stars because otherwise i love listening to them chat, but i’m concerned for jac sometimes lol

Love it but Jacqueline, take a deep breath

great pod but Jacqueline, you dont always need to dominate the convo, and fill space with self deprecation right after. chill, pass the ball back and forth.
