A group of smart, funny friends meet together every week to talk about the book they’re reading—a book that just so happens to be incredibly buzzy and in the zeitgeist because it has an adaptation coming up on the big screen or via streaming. Because when everyone at work is talking about it, we want to be the smug ones who can say we actually read the book first. Hosted by Dana Schwartz, Jennifer Wright, Korama Danquah, Melissa Hunter, and Tien Tran. New episodes every Monday!

Love this podcast!
Love this podcast, the ladies, and the books. So sad I don’t have HBO :(
Love this! Please come back
This podcast is the only literary podcast I truly enjoyed and listened to all the way through. Diverse set of people, deep thoughts and insightful discussion, great dives into disagreements and always some laughs. This feels like sipping and snacking around the table with friends in your own book club, and I love it! I’m so disappointed that the show had to end, and I have not been able to find a good substitute to fill that void! I highly recommend listening to all the episodes they have, and I hope that one day these ladies will put out more wonderful content.
Come back to me!
Waking up on December 14th to “Final Episode” was such a blow, especially since I’d just finished Fingersmith and was ready for some sexy discourse!
I relisten to “The Hate U Give” episodes after the too frequent police shootings, I have mainlined Octavia Butler at Korama’s suggestion, I listened on audiobook to Jennifer’s books and really felt like I was having a book club with friends.
Thank you for what you did give us, sorry I didn’t rate/review earlier.
