#2 Angela Ward: Ketamine and other Non-Ordinary States – A Nurse’s Perspective
As the psychedelic pathway continues to open up, there are more and varied lenses to examine the ways in which we offer care for those going through these healing processes. Angela Ward, RNC Ob/EFM CPRT, shares her perspective caring for patients in more than 300 individual and group ketamine-assisted therapy sessions. She also discusses how Registered Nurses bring a unique skill set to psychedelic-assisted therapy. Angela has spent the majority of her nursing career as a Labor and Delivery nurse, helping women through the transformative process of birthing their babies into the world. Her practice philosophy was shaped by her time at Seattle University, where the Jesuit values of social justice and education instilled in her a deep belief that all people deserve the highest quality of care no matter what their means and resources.
Angela Ward is a Registered Nurse, Transformational Coach, and Integration/Embodiment Specialist. She is the CEO of Guardian at the Gateway, a Nurse-Managed Lifestyle and Wellness company, which guides professionals struggling with burnout to regain passion and purpose in not only their work but their whole lives.

Mush love - Evan.
I attended the Fall 2019 and cried the whole time- it was SO beautiful. The speakers talked about such deep topics in a way that revealed the humanity in all.
They host multiple Zoom groups via MeetUps.com- I’ve participated in those as well and they are equally as deep yet more intimate.
Grateful for everyone of service at PPS and for this podcast as a resource to share with my friends and family!
