Power of Care Leadership – Bill Padisak Power of Care Leadership

Bill Padisak, Board President of Meridian HealthCare, answers 8 Questions in 8 Minutes as part of the Power of Care Leadership series.

Bill has served as the President of the Mahoning/Trumbull Central Labor Council since 2010. He has held an elected officer position in the Labor Council since 1996.

He has held the Union offices of: President, Service Employees International Union (SEIU), Local 627; Vice-President, SEIU District 1199; and board member for the Northeast Ohio Allied Labor Federation. Bill was recently elected to a Vice President position of the Ohio AFL-CIO. He is employed as a Field Representative for the Ohio Association of Public School Employees (OAPSE).

Bill currently serves as President of the Board for Meridian HealthCare and has been on the Boards of many community organizations in the Mahoning Valley. He has held a board seat on the United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley since 1996 and served as Board President for one term. Bill was also elected as a Board member of the Portage County Farm Bureau in 2019.

He graduated from Youngstown State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and holds a Blood Bank Technologist registry with the American Society of Clinical Pathologists.

Bill is married to the former Beth Wallbrown, who is a co-owner of Deerfield Agricultural Services. They have four children, six grandchildren and live on a farm in Deerfield, Ohio.
