Hey, sister! We’re Jarrod and Anita, parents of four, Christ followers, and big fans of great tasting food. 

For years we tried exercising more and eating the foods we thought were healthy, like free range, cage free, no hormone added "natural” and “clean” foods, and yet we both found ourselves feeling the increasing effects of what we thought were changes that come with age or bad genes. 

We fought inflammation, ached daily, lacked the energy we needed, gained unwanted pounds, and faced a growing list of medical problems that kept us from living the full, active life we desperately wanted. 

Even though we are both health professionals, we weren’t finding answers the traditional route, because it focuses on treating symptoms rather than addressing the root cause of disease. We knew that we had to change something because there were so many things we wanted to accomplish and experience in this life. We didn’t want to just live long…we wanted to live well!After digging into the nutrition research we finally realized that if we were going to reverse our health struggles and even prevent new ones, we needed to understand the way to regularly enjoy whole plant food that works with real life..So we created the system of simple plant-based meal strategies we could actually stick with…a lifestyle that makes feeling great each day quick, easy, and enjoyable, and we’re here to share it with you!

So fun and so relatable!

I just found this podcast and I’m so glad that I did! I am a mom of four kids and have a lot of things going on in my life, and I want to eat healthy. I feel like most plant-based information I find is super complicated and uses weird ingredients and just seems too overwhelming. I listened to one episode of this podcast and I’m already feeling like it’s more doable and that it can be fun, easy, and simple. I also love listening to Anita and Jared. They are so fun and so relatable and I love their faith and joy! I’m so excited to keep listening!
