Prefect Time // Praise & Shine
God hears our prayers and works all things for good according to His perfect plan. God listens and He is ready to answer, all we must do is ask.
Worry // Praise & Shine 10/10/21
Today's podcast brought to you by Trisha Caudill. Do you find yourself worrying about things you know you shouldn’t? Phil 4:6, Isaiah 41:10, Joshua 1:9, Matthew 6:25-27
Don’t Fear Failure // Praise & Shine
Fear is a liar. We are not defined by our fears; we are defined by God. We are 'fearfully and wonderfully made,' (Psalms 139:14), 'a new creation,' (2 Corinthians 5:17), 'accepted,' (Romans 8:1), 'forgiven,' (1 John 1:9), and 'holy and dearly loved,' (Colossians 3:12).
When we let failure define us, we rob ourselves of the love and grace of our Heavenly Father. Our failure is never more powerful than our God!
Praise & Shine Extra // Signs Of The Times
In the final days of Jesus, he and his disciples were on the mount of olives when they asked Jesus what were the signs of his return and end of days. This is his account from Matthew 24:3-44.
Do not fear what these verses say, instead be ready and rejoice in what is to come. We may not know the day or hour; however, we should be living as if Jesus' return was today! The promise of what is to come should give you home.
"He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death will not exist any more – or mourning, or crying, or pain, for the former things have ceased to exist." Revelations 21:4
Do Not Be Alarmed // Praise & Shine
Jesus tells us, don’t be alarmed. Don’t be afraid when you hear of wars, earthquakes, and famine. While these things can be troubling, they are not pains of death, but rather birth pains.
Learn this lesson from the fig tree, when its branches bud and its leaves begin to sprout, you know that summer is near. In the same way, when you see all these things, you can know his return is very near, right at the door. Matthew 24:32-33
The Prodigal // Praise & Shine
Recount the parable of the prodigal. Which son are you?
