We had the pleasure of talking to wonderful Amanda in this episode! She struggled losing her mother when she was only ten years old, but through the support from her grandparents and school teachers she was able to keep moving forward. Amanda wants others to know that if you are going through a difficult time it is okay and healthy to allow yourself to feel your emotions as they come. She also encourages people to find ways to help those in need, as well as finding ways to volunteer in your community.

In honor of October’s Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day, we decided to take this episode and share our story of our two late miscarriages that we suffered in 2017 and 2018. We also briefly talk about our three ectopic pregnancies, but you can find those stories in a previous episode. While we miss our sweet angel babies, we are so grateful for the angels seen and unseen who have been such a huge support during such difficult times. In this episode we were able to talk to Mary’s friend hair stylist, Taylor Orr. Taylor is a wife, mother to her sweet baby boy, and Cosmetologist of four years. She has a passion for making people feel beautiful inside and out, and also strives to inspire and help others! Taylor is a Survivor! She wanted to share her incredibly heartbreaking yet brave story of surviving being raped. Taylor provides hotlines and steps to take, including being a listening ear, if someone has been sexually assaulted all in hopes that the survivor won’t feel alone! Taylor is an amazing woman and we are so honored to be a part of her brave journey in sharing her story.

So much hope
So I just listened to all of your podcast. It’s amazing!! And once again you’re blessing my life by your story and the podcast. So my therapist recommended that when I get anxious I should do something to distract me. Podcasts is the thing that does the trick. This week my hubby has been out of town and I had sick kiddos. So I was a little more anxious than normal. This podcast was the perfect thing. It gave me so much hope!! 💕
