Drawing upon Paul’s letter to the Ephesians, Dr. Eugene Peterson reminds the listener that the primary language of the resurrected life is one of prayer. Prayer is a total experience for the Christian, as we are to pray at all times and in all situations. Though there might be forms and models for prayer, these do not necessarily lead to maturity. Rather we must extend our language of prayer to include others, for the resurrection life is formed in community, and when our calling and walking are in equilibrium. These lectures were given as the 2010 Kistemaker Academic Lecture Series at the RTS Orlando Campus.
