The Regional track meets went off Friday and Saturday despite unpleasant conditions and Amarillo High, Panhandle, and Silverton girls claim regional titles while Adam Burlison continues to shine for AHS.
Regional golf saw AHS dominate 1-5A and Canyon is headed back for the second straight year while Tascosa and Wildorado boys head to state as well.

Canyon, Randall Walk Off Wins in Baseball; Area Softball Roundup; WT Men One Step Away From Elite Eight
Canyon and Randall kicked off District 4-4A play with walk off wins at the hands of West Plains. In softball, District 4-4A is a logjam while Amarillo High rolls and District 1-2A looks to be very competitive.
WT men are one step away from an Elite Eight tournament appearance after picking up wins over LSC foes Angelo St. and Dallas Baptist.

There are thousands of local sports podcasts across iTunes, but you’ll be hard pressed to find one that sounds as casual and conversational and unscripted as this one. The hosts truly love TX panhandle sports and it shows. They give local sports the media love and coverage that they deserve.
