Telling stories about story telling

This podcast addresses contemporary issues in oral history and asks questions about form, method, and politics. Each episode addresses a new subject with a range of perspectives from interviewers, interviewees, and the show's hosts. Most importantly, this podcast gives oral history a chance to speak for itself. It is sad to think how interviews sit in physical storage or cyberspace purgatory, longing for an ear to hear them. The SOHP crew are unearthing gems in the archives that deserve to be heard and every episode I am excited to hear new and exciting stories.
