We're revisiting the classic with a three-part look at the classic filmed adaptations, and the some of the more out-there adaptations, too!

Bridget Jones's Diary (Miramax, 2001), directed by Sharon Maguire, written by Richard Curtis, Andrew Davies, and Helen Fielding, and starring Renée Zellweger and Colin Firth. Pride & Prejudice: A Latter-Day Comedy (Excel Entertainment Group, 2003), directed by Andrew Black, written by Anne Black, Jason Faller, and Katherine Swigert, and starring Kam Heskin and Orlando Seale. Bride & Prejudice (Miramax, 2004), directed by Gurinder Chadha, written by Chadha and Paul Mayeda Berges, and starring Aishwarya Rai and Martin Henderson. The Lizzie Bennet Diaries (Pemberley Digital, 2012–2013), created by Hank Green and Bernie Su, directed by Su and Margaret Dunlap, and starring Ashley Clements and Daniel Vincent Gordh. Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (Lionsgate, 2016), written and directed by Burr Steers, and starring Lily James and Sam Riley. Based on the novel by Seth Grahame-Smith. Pride & Prejudice: Atlanta (Lifetime, 2019), directed by Rhonda Baraka, written by Tracy McMillan, and starring Tiffany Hines and Juan Antonio. Footnotes:
