I really enjoyed these lectures, all the presenters were very well spoken, knowledgeable, and thorough. Very very well done. The Thatcher lecturer was hilarious, I had to watch it twice to catch everything, but it also made me a bit uncertain to how biased he was? I was a bit reassured since he spoke extensively about his role with her gov. I especially enjoyed the May video- the different perspectives were wonderful and it was fascinating to hear alternative viewpoints. I’m American (trying to learn more about UK politics) and it was a bit difficult at times to understand some of the cultural context (treaties, old political parties etc), but that just gave me more to learn and I appreciate that it wasn’t too simplified. Great lecture series- helped a lot with my comparative politics class!
