Growing up in Morgantown, West Virginia, She pursued her passion for theater, earning a B.A from West Virginia University and a master's in fine arts from the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco. Inspired by her newfound heritage and deeply moved by the aftermath of Sierra Leone's civil war, She co-founded Sierra Leone Rising, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving education, economic opportunities, and sustainable living in the region. Her remarkable story, chronicled in the memoir "A Princess Found," has captivated audiences worldwide, earning her recognition on platforms like Disney, CNN, Good Morning America, and the BBC.
