Great content, too long

Great content but too much time wasted on small talk, sidebars that only make the episode longer than needed. Love the content but don’t always have an hour+ to listen.

If PE excites you, then surely don’t hide it!

If you are outside PE and looking in, this is the most #reallife, actionable content you are going to find on mid-market private equity. If you want to learn about sourcing, buying, running, growing, and selling small technology companies, the Funcast is a treasure trove. If you ever wanted to pick a GP’s brain about PE for hours and hours, the Funcast is for you. If, however, you’re running low on bandwidth and already a good guy/gal with serious operational expertise who’s plugged into massive proprietary deal flow and able to proactively provide big-time value-add...then you may want to skip it!

Funny, educational, insightful.

Even though my focus is on PE in the RE world, I can honestly say this is one of my favorite podcasts out. Learn a lot every show, get a lot of insight into spaces I’m not actively involved in AND Chicago was the first place I lived in America so big UPs to chi-town.
