Knowledge and Knotheads

Mike’s past as a lawyer, and his journalism ethics means you’re getting an intelligent, sourced take on NFL news, with the ability to relate everything to a Seinfeld episode or comedy film. Mike has a great sense of humor, and an excellent BS detector. His interplay with Stats and Simms, who take Mike’s well-deserved but good-natured ribbing, and give it back, is priceless. Simms mangling of the English language, and experience as an NFL QB whose Dad was also an NFL QB, is
helpful, even when you can’t tell what he was trying to say, and hilariously fails the grammar and vocabulary tests of speaking English. He lost his spleen on the field(and KEPT PLAYING), so he takes a backseat to no NFL player in guts, but is delightfully self-deprecating. The affection between Mike and Chris Simms is obvious, even while they gleefully trash each other. Enjoy!

Enjoyable, but . . .

Is there an option to skip over anytime Chris Sims speaks? I’m willing to listen to the Kars-4-Kids jingle instead

Better than the rest...

I’ve been hooked on this podcast for a long time. I used to listen to a lot of sports talk radio and I don’t anymore because I prefer Mike Florio’s style. He’s incredibly knowledgeable about football and he’s a straight shooter. There’s no arguing or sensationalism. He simply tells it like it is.
