Just try not to laugh

Such a fun podcast! I feel like I am just listening to my two hilarious BFFs talking about what they love and mostly hate about such classics as She’s the Man and Friends. Tony and Nadia provide great context of the pop culture of the time and how the movie or show was received. Their exasperation and laughter are infectious. I look forward to more episodes in 2019!

Skewering bad comedy superbly

Nadia and Tony do such an excellent job not just critiquing bad comedies from recent decades but seriously engaging with it as major influences on our cultural outlook. From comedy standards like "Tootsie" to "Dane Cook" they give a critique that is both rooted in a love of comedy as well as desire to see the genre improved by learning from these comedians/movies/shows/characters that have clearly not aged well.

Brilliant Concept! Wonderful Chemistry! Perfect Execution!

The concept for this podcast alone gets it 5 stars. They will be able to make a million and one of these so easily. Then they go ahead and execute it flawlessly. I love hearing these two talk and make each other laugh and I love the choices they've made so far for movies. My favorite is when they talk about common sense media at the end and when Nadia recaps what was going on when the movie came out. The real gem of this podcast is their chemistry. Nadia and Tony have such a great rapport. I could honestly listen to them talk about anything but I love hearing them talk about old movies that have aged terribly. Please do the movie Soul Man ASAP.
