S03E07 Nine Pretty Darn Angry Men

Cotton and Black Friday descend upon Rainey Street, and everyone is forced to react, as the stuffing isn't the only thing that's spoiled in this classic holiday episode of King of the Hill. But are we voting for Hank's mom or the mower?

Also, is Melton offering listeners $50 to participate in a Nashville Anthems: Dissecting 80s & 90s Country Music focus group?

    S03E06 Peggy's Pageant Fever

    S03E06 Peggy's Pageant Fever

Peggy's self-confidence puts herself, and Hank, in a tough spot, and it's going to take more than premium-grade duct tape to fix this mess.  But when Peggy shifts her focus to subversion, who exactly is the establishment and who is the revolutionary?

Oh, and he won't be covering the Spice Girls, but you should still flip over to Melton's other podcast, Nashville Anthems: Dissecting 80s & 90s Country Music.

    S03E05 Next of Shin

    S03E05 Next of Shin

Cotton shows off what he can do and Hank can't, as storylines and themes from "Pregnant Paws" continued to be carried to term.  But which is less explainable for Melton, the Mega La Magnet or the Vegas trip?

Also, don't forget to ask your physician about Melton's other podcast, Nashville Anthems: Dissecting 80s & 90s Country Music.  Doctor's orders.

    S03E04 Pregnant Paws

    S03E04 Pregnant Paws

Hank and Peggy deal with infertility past and present while Dale finds a side hustle that feels just right for him, and Melton continues, without producing any credentials, to hunt for themes that tie it all together, as we sit awkwardly through "Pregnant Paws".

And if the mood strikes you, switch over to Melton's other podcast, Nashville Anthems: Dissecting 80s & 90s Country Music.  Because rogue is the only way we know how to do it.

    S03E03 Peggy's Headache

    S03E03 Peggy's Headache

Melton tackles an episode that plays with the concepts of awareness and things unspoken.  What happens when everyone else comes to know that Peggy has finally come to know the thing everyone else already knows...but prefers not to talk about?  It's a well-crafted King of the Hill episode, and Melton hopes his musings about it are at least more insightful that Doyle Harcavy's.

And hey, if 80s & 90s country music is good enough for John Redcorn, Melton's other podcast, Nashville Anthems: Dissecting 80s & 90s Country Music is good enough for you.

S03E02 And They Call It Bobby Love

Bobby finds something like love, while the guys find something like furniture, in this complex classic of Season 3.

But why were you dancing with all those guys??

And hey, if country music is good enough to drown Bobby's sorrows, it must be good enough for yours.  So check out Melton's other podcast, Nashville Anthems: Dissecting 80s & 90s Country Music.

Meh

Love me some KOTH, and was excited to listen to this podcast. The guy was interesting and did a wicked Hank impression, but Daisy was monotonous and kept complaining about how the writers didn’t know anything about real tornados. Her know it all attitude and complaints about so many “unrealistic” moments in the cartoon really ruined the fun. I won’t listen again.
