PSYWAR is made by active duty Psychological Operations Soldiers for the benefit of other members of the special operations community, and Soldiers/civilians interested in joining the PSYOP Regiment.
Each week we will discuss a new topic like what we do, how you can join, the future of Information Warfare, and a ton of other things with some cool war stories sprinkled on top.
Our goal is to help young and highly qualified individuals unravel some of the mysteries surrounding PSYOP in order to make an educated decision about their career. We also want to be a resource for helping professionally develop current PSYOPers and other members of the special operations family.

Cool insight to the PsyOp Regiment. One of the three ARSOF tribes-you see a lot of stuff about SF. Cool to see PSYOP is getting out there.
Immoral, Unethical & Illegal
The exploitation of limitations in psychodynamic, cognitive, behavioral and neurological processing is disgusting and an unethical use of medical expertise. Not only have PSYOP tactics proliferated into the public and private sectors but they are in fact deployed domestically for power, social control and statecraft. PSYOP's largely depend on coercion, manipulation and lies and these tactics are routinely utilized with the utmost savagery- caring only about fulfilling the objective at the expense of human health.
Great initiative, strive for more!
Great initiative from 8th POG (A)!!
This could be an opportunity to develop this into higher level dialogue with officers and NCO’s who are working on master’s degrees or PHD’s from PSYOP experiences. Developing a network and dialogue with professionals inside and OUTSIDE of the Regiment: writers, professors, interagency, as examples; could make this a higher level discussion that professionally develops and lends to recruiting as well.
