Sun Gazette Journalism Keeping Local Alive

Paul and Reggie are doing more to keep local news commentary alive than anybody else in Tulare County (and probably Kings and Fresno) these days. They are invaluable valley resources and really care about understanding the local issues, listening to all perspectives, and reporting the news. The podcast is commentary, so you have to accept that it is an expression of opinion and the hosts don’t always agree and others in their newsroom may not agree with the takes either. That being said, there is no person more qualified in breadth and depth of knowledge to speak on these issues. These days there are many people who whine about listening to someone they don’t completely agree with and I think that’s part of the problem that the podcast tries to address-Paul and Reggie hear out people they don’t always agree with and try to incorporate that perspective into their own. The people need this medicine. Badly. I’ll continue to take my regular dose and continue to be a loyal subscriber to the Sun Gazette for years to come.

Please check out the 12-26-75 podcast. All of the research into the Exeter and Visalia murder(s) has been done and I’m sure they’d gladly share the exhaustive search that they’ve done.

Poor Ethics

These two Paper Trail podcasters are the editor and publisher of the local Tulare County newspaper "The Sun-Gazette" . They seem to have lost the journalistic ethic to provide unbiased, factual coverage of stories. It almost seemed like they were paid members of the Tulare County DA media spin team in episode 118 which is no longer available
