Shea Watson first fought battles of childhood abuse and then he chose to fight for his country. Diagnosed with PTSD in 1997 by the United States Army, Shea spent two years in the hospital because trauma finally demanded his attention. Life hasn't been easy for him, but then Shea tells us what Jesus did for him.
This is a special podcast crossover event, as Amy joins forces with The Pantry Podcast, co-hosted by Shea Watson as well as his wife Michelle Watson, also a co-host of The Pantry Podcast. Also joining the episode is Pastor Markus Watson, curator of The Spiritual Life and Leadership podcast. Pastor Watson lives in San Diego, CA with his wife and three children. His own experience with trauma brought so much value to the episode.
Shea's story is highlighted in this lively conversation about trauma and healing and most of all identity. Michelle brings a perspective that is often requested--that of a loved one of a PTSD patient. Pastor Markus Watson brings his perspective, having logged some trauma himself. His story is featured on The Pantry Podcast.
I Peter 2:9 "You are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, that you may be able to declare the praises of the One that called you out of darkness into marvelous light."
We hope you enjoy this unique podcast experience!
