[Pulp! Halloween Special] Creating a Cryptid
Pulp! creator Cody Sullivan sits down with Chris Goulet and Science Night's James Reed to do the unthinkable: Create a new Cryptid.
Happy Halloween!
This Halloween we decided to do something a bit different. Chris Goulet, James Reed, and Cody Sullivan host a roundtable discussion on what makes a cryptid--and what makes them scary, in particular. Interwoven with the discussion is a larger narrative piece about one man's brave encouter with this nightmare creature deep in the shadow of the woods. This episode promises to be as informative as it is chilling, and if you enjoy hearing James talk about the biology of this creature, head on over to scinight.com to hear more.
This episode is complimented well by the latest episode of Science Night, where James and Cody talk about premature burials, graverobbing, and how Queen Victoria's mourning brought an entire nation to reconcile their mortality. Stick around at the end of the episode for a Pulpy take on Edgar Allen Poe's, "The Premature Burial." You can listen by clicking here (https://www.scinight.com/episodes/2020-halloween-spectacular), or searching for Science Night on wherever you get your podcasts!
We here at Pulp! wish you a happy and safe Halloween!

Story Driven
If you're looking for story driven podcasts such as Snap Judgement! or The Tructh, you can't get much better than Pulp! From Beyond the Veil.
Great Show
I'm a sucker for folk tales and campfire stories so Pulp is right up my alley. It reminds me a bit of The Twilight Zone but in podcast form. Beyond my own bias for the kind of stories being told, the writing is great and the voice acting is top notch as well. It's original and unique and can't wait to hear more!
