F1 returns to Shanghai after a 5 year hiatus. There is more gravel and new paint on the asphalt. It is the first Sprint of the season. The trophy looks awesome. Alex Albon has a panda helmet. We are VERY excited for this Grand Prix weekend! -
Ep399 - 130R Superstars | #JapaneseGP
Tune in for our breakdown of the Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix!
Cherry Blossoms were blooming and Williams was wrecking. Yuki Tsunoda scored a point for the Japanese faithful in his home Grand Prix. Carlos Sainz continued his hot start with another podium. We saw tons of ballsy overtakes around 130R at Suzuka. The trophy looked like an AI-generated "F1 cup trophy." Red Bull did what Red Bull does with a 1-2 for Max Verstappen and Checo Perez. -
Ep398 - Drizzling
Tune in for our preview of the Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix!
We get you ready for what will be an awesome race at the epic Suzuka International Racing Course by touching on past performances, bold predictions, and what makes this track so special. We also tease some of the specialty helmet designs, a new livery, and a unique word for light rain. Be sure to send us your Formula Brunch spreads and root for your F1 FANtasy Tsunoda stack.
There are also some rumors swirling in the Mercedes driver market that would crank up the Silly Season... -
Ep397 - Hold My Appendix | #AUSGP
Tune in for our breakdown of the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix!
Max Verstappen had a rare mechanical failure and did NOT win. Carlos Sainz had no appendix and DID win. Alex Albon stole Logan Sargeant's car thanks to Microsoft Excel. Kick/Stake/Audi Sauber can't stop cross-threading wheel nuts. Alpine are maybe not hot garbage but just garbage?
We discuss all the F1 happenings on, off, and around the track from what was a shockingly different Grand Prix from what we have been used to recently! -
Ep396 - Williams' Grand Prixdicament
Tune in for our preview of the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix!
We kick things off with some breaking F1 news about the soap off the track that is lathering up, Zak Brown getting extended as McLaren CEO, and Fun Valtteri taking over Melbourne.
Then we head down under to Albert Park Circuit to discuss Williams sidelining Logan Sargeant for Alex Albon since they use Microsoft Excel to track their spare parts. Hopefully, 4 DRS Zones will give us an exciting race and a new race winner outside of Max Verstappen and Red Bull. We also chat about Formula Brunch and F1 Fantasy. -
Ep395 - Penalty Conundrum | #SaudiArabianGP
Tune in for our recap of the Formula 1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in Jeddah!
There was more smoke billowing out of Red Bull. Not from the cars but off the track in the media. Their cars took care of business again with Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez bagging another 1-2.
Ollie Bearman had his coming out party in Ferrari red and gave the Tifosi more than 0.0% effort. Kevin Magnussen thumbed his nose at multiple penalties by backing up the pack of backmarkers so Nico Hülkenberg could snatch a point. Lance Stroll hit the f*****g wall. Rose water failed to deliver on the F1 podium per usual, but this episode will deliver all the details and laughs!

Great F1 Podcast
This is a great podcast for keeping up to date with what’s happening in F1. They’re always on it! They’ve got the stuff you expect covered - who won, who messed up strategy, what upgrades are coming, who is struggling with reliability, inter- and intra-team dynamics, F1 news, etc… And they cover stuff you’re not expecting, like helmet graphics, livery design, and who has the best hair (Carlos, obviously). But the best part is the banter between the dudes, Helmut and Ry-Guy. It’s solid. And there are puns too…lots of puns.
Great reporting - outstanding content
Mut and Ry-guy put together top notch content multiple times a week (do these guys have day jobs! Kidding).
One of the things that makes the podcast great is that you can go down the rabbit hole on technical racing, regulation, and car issues and then also go deep on who has the best hair on the grid or deep dives on beer sponsorships.
The podcast is both educational and entertaining and adds to the enjoyment of the races.
Three purple sectors for this podcast.
