Spirituality for the free-thinker

The music is a bit cheesy, but the message is very interesting. Discussions about "meaning" are often dominated by speakers who profess faith in supernatural entities. Dr. Maisel's perspective is refreshing; he outlines a way to lead a morally satisfying life without accepting truths that can't possibly be known (i.e., whether gods exist). If the idea of "meaning" with gods upsets you, check out episode 8 before you dismiss or criticize the podcast.

Making meaning

This podcast is fantastic. It shows you that finding yourself is an illusion and creating yourself is the reality. I agree that this isn't a very spiritual option, but spiritual options are just another way of deluding yourself. Making meaning is what we do instinctually and it's nice to have someone point that out to us. Very well done.

unfortunate

There is no way to find true meaning and fullfillment in life without the guidance of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. If you are honest with yourself you will know it is true. Please do not wander down this path and realize it was the wrong one when it's too late. God bless you...I hope He touches your lives as He has mine so that your eyes can be opened.
