A must

This is where passion, knowledge and experince comes together to create an informative podcast we need to listen to. The Kitschy good natured banter from the back room of their Old Saybrook location make this pod cast "real" and a cut above the rest.

not something I'd recommend

Although I appreciate the concept of the show and the ideas they want to discuss. I really dislike the tone of the interviewers. Of the episodes I've listened the overall tone - is: "we're the experts we've been doing it for 30years" "oh these people on the internet giving false information" All in all its too negative and offers little positive solutions on why we participate in sports. In any case I wont be listening to this anymore.

Relevant information, but…..

Clearly Coach Al and Dr. Kurt know their stuff, but I struggled listening to them. I'm probably way off base due to all the 4 and 5 star ratings they have acquired, but… First off, I kept listening for specifics and not generalities, and they made it very clear they would not provide specifics as everything is so different to the individual. I was bored listening to them and got tired of the phrase "good stuff". The few nuggets of great information that I received from their podcasts were from their interviews. Notably Todd Kenyon and his wife, but they kept interrupting him when he was expounding on some great ideas about bike fit. The interview with Ken Glah was outstanding and his endurance sports travel company. I kept fighting to listen to all the podcasts and I did. Now that I'm caught up it's time to say good-bye. I wouldn't want to be coached by them as I would be bored to death and would never know when we were going to get to the nuts and bolts of our training. Again, I'm probably way off base, but this is how I feel.
