Thank you for talking about menopause and woman’s health. I’m currently dealing with possibly having adenomyosis which originally was thought that I was perimenopause. My husband also had a vasectomy and the thought of birth control again or the iud options made me do the same as you why would I do that we had the vasectomy so that those wouldn’t be needed. I totally agree there needs to be more studies and funding to figuring out these things for women. Everything I was reading on the adenomyosis is basically the same in general they don’t understand it there isn’t much research and they can try to treat the symptoms with iud, birth control , maybe hormones and the other option is a hysterectomy. So my dr is now sending me to the gynecologist for a consult because it’s not something he knows enough about. Thank you for putting that out there and letting women know yo advocate for themselves more too when it comes to medical things.
You NEED this podcast in your life!

Janelle and Eddie are my go-to motivators. Their conversations are so on point with what’s going on in life on a weekly basis. If you want a couple of friends to give you tough love AND the tools you need to thrive, give it a listen...you’re going to love it!
Perfect kickstart to 2024

Long time fan, but had to share that the “new year, new you” was truly the perfect kickstart to the year. I am a list maker and you reminded me that I thrive best when I write I am intentional when I have goals written down. My word for the year is “nurture”. I want to nurture my health, nurture my family, nurture my friendships, nurture my faith, nurture my passions…
Funny, smart, informative and “cheeky” couple’s banter. I love it!

Ep. 188 🔥🔥🔥🔥Tipping culture gone wild, getting diet together, discussing what you’re reading with family, 3 stages of life, The Drift …. I loved it ALL! Y’all hooked me in from the beginning with the tipping rant - I can dive even further into that topic - and just kept it fun and interesting. I Love it! 🤣🙌🏽🎉💕 Episode 173, about lying features Janelle’s dad as a guest cohost. His take on lying is hilarious! And … (still trying to find the word). I wouldn’t have believed someone actually does this - go out of their way to lie to a stranger, by giving them a false compliment. And he does it while sounding innocent and kind! Bwahaha! It is both funny and innocence robbing - I fear I’ll be side-eyeing every compliment I get from a stranger for the rest of my life. 😭 And to answer the episode’s question: No. Lying is rarely ever necessary. Only when lives are literally at stake is it necessary.(If a robber asks me if anyone else is home with me, the answer is “No!) But in everyday, regular life, lying is unnecessary. It reflects an emotional immaturity. The liar isn’t emotionally equipped enough to bear the response they fear they will receive by telling the truth. I stopped lying 23 years ago. I thought it would be horrible. Instead, it is the single most freeing choice I’ve ever made. It doesn’t mean that I don’t censor my thoughts. (I can be honest while holding back my worst thoughts.) It means striving to have a vocabulary and emotional intelligence that will enable me to have tough conversations, honestly. And never, ever, going up to a stranger to give a false compliment that they didn’t ask for! 😂 DINO, that poor waitress probably NEEDED to get her nose fixed. And now you’ve gone and pumped her head up! It might take her a whole year b4 she gets back to where she needs to be - saving up for plastic surgery. You got folks going back to get a hairstyle they never should've got in the first place. Dino out in the world just ruining people’s lives and feeling good about it! Lol! But thanks for the 30 minutes of laughter! IG @FireFlyTam
