Ginosko: Part 6
The practice of examen involves asking daily questions of ourselves with God and opening our hearts to His love through thankfulness and the awareness of our own brokenness. Transformation at the heart level requires this type of deeper, personal reflection and communion with God. As we develop this rhythm, we will also become more aware of His presence throughout the day. Give it a try this week!

KINGDOM: Why Are You Angry?
Within the first four chapters of the Bible, we begin to understand that the largest problem that we are going to have in this world is living with one another. Join us for a look at what Jesus has to say about anger and what to do with it in our day-to-day lives.
Ginosko: Part 5
This week Laura and Jonathan dive into the ancient practice of Lectio Divina or divine reading. This practice helps move from reading for information to listening to what God is saying to you at the moment to transform your heart. DOWNLOAD HANDOUT
KINGDOM: The Fulfillment of Things to Come
Jesus, in this most famous sermon, wants to save the world. But first, Jesus wants to save Christians. Not by just talking about good ideas, but about a life that can actually be lived. Join us as we continue KINGDOM, a series on the Sermon on the Mount from the Gospel of Matthew.
Ginosko: Part 4
Are you standing over scripture to master it or under it to be transformed. When we go to the Bible, the primary purpose is not doctrinal accuracy, it’s to encounter God. Because God is a who, not a what.
This week's Assignment: 1. Pick a short prayer, a psalm or doxology from the Bible and read it slowly, listen to it, and sit with It throughout the week to see what God reveals. 2. Pick 4-6 verses from a favorite Bible story and write out ten questions you have; not to find the answers, but to invite God to speak through the questions.
KINGDOM: Jesus Wants to Save Christians
I do not attend this church, but since I have started listening I am in awe! The way this church explores not only the Scriptures, but God and his world, is inspiring. Thank you, PV!
