Quantum Storytelling is the interconnection of living things to one another, and to things that are wave/particles. Tune into your Quantum Storytelling, experience many worlds, and move among these worlds in your daily life. Quantum Storytelling is something I have been working out in books, articles, and the annual quantum storytelling conference. I am David Michael Boje. I crisscross science of storytelling with the spiritual, particularly shamanism and Jainism.

How many quantum storytelling worlds can you balance in your life?
Link to my keynote event for the sociotechnical systems conference in Iceland,
Big thank you to the Enthinkment Circle for coming to my rescue, to do an ensemble event keynote last Friday, and to Ronny for editing a YouTube of the event
This episode is a shout out to the wonderful radiation techs at MD Anderson, who are life-savers and so very helpful
How do you and I balance the many worlds we participate in each day? Where does one start and the other leave off?
Do you live in Quantum Storytelling Multiverse?
Do you live in the Quantum Storytelling Multiverse? Not the multiverse of quantum mathematics or string theory. Talking here about all the worlds you live in. You are at center of some and periphery dweller of others. There is a difference between being the observer and being the participant, doing the acts in a particular world. I give examples of my own multiverse worlds: Pokemon Go, Radiation treatments, Family, Philosophy podcasts, etc. It is one thing to overseer, another to be a participant. My participation in one world helps me with participation in another one.
Henri Bergson durée, Michael Bakhtin Architectonic, and some other surprises.
Updates on my first 7 of 28 radiation treatments at MD Anderson, and reaching level 22 (so close to 23) in Pokemon Go.
What is the relation of Quantum Shamans to Quantum Storytelling?
I am a Quantum Shaman (in training). I am responding to
Prof. Dave, how finds Quantum Mysticism is Stupid (Deepak Chopra, etc.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aQTWor_2nu4&t=1766s
However, here I am doing Quantum Storytelling and Quantum Shamanic drumming meditations (Michael Harner core Shamanism), so what do I do?
I went to listen to Michelle's interview with RedWolf Crow, the Quantum Shaman on Youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NVEcgJKBYrI&t=1204s
I also looked at my own quantum shaman practice to see what I could learn from Prof. Dave and from RedWolf Crow. Each of us says they knows something about the quantum physics. We reach different conclusions.
I gave an update on my first four cancer radiation treatments at MD Anderson. Things you need to know. Men have to hold some 60 ounces (more or less) of water, and get ultra sound. I had too little, then to much water in the bladder. So had to try, try again. Once on the table, I was in terror - could I hold that ward, and not let go. How embarrassing? Today I did shamanic meditation (listening to drumming) during the time waiting for the tables nd during the radiation, and I was calmer, and not in terror. Was that evidence of something? You decide.
Hope you enjoy the episode.
to visit the Shamanic Drumming Meditation Circle. We meet each Thursday on Zoom https://davidboje.com/shamanic
All the best
How Quantum Storytelling can Not Fall into Quantum Mysticism?
I learn a few lessons from Prof Dave's YouTube: Quantum Mysticism is Stupid (Deepak Chopra, Spirit Science, Actualized.org)
1. It's important to define what the terms 'quantum' and 'storytelling' actually mean?
Quantum, in physics, is the minimum amount of an entity involved in an interaction.
Storytelling is the interplay of 'living story' and 'narrative' with the constituting processes of 'antenarrative.' see https://antenarrative.com for the research and theory articles and lots of diagrams I put together over the years.
2. In Quantum Mysticism (see Prof. Dave's YouTube) we are told that our consciousness creates reality, or in quantum there is no reality, etc. Prof Dave finds this quite the ridiculous narrative spewed by con men that has come to be known as quantum mysticism. Together let's identify its origin, with figures like Deepak Chopra. Prof Dave should look at management studies, where quantum mysticism has moved in and taken over.
To keep Quantum Storytelling from falling into the abyss of social constructivism (there is no reality, only what is socially constructed, etc.) we can takes Prof' Dave's critiques to heart.
I admit I have much to learn about quantum, and all the ways quantum storytelling is being cast in various disciplines.
Do you believe in quantum healing?
Brian Cox says 'quantum healing' is not a thing. See https://www.wsj.com/articles/BL-SEB-69030 Why Quantum Theory Is So Misunderstood By Brian Cox Feb. 20, 2012e
On the other hand, Quantum Healing: Exploring the Frontiers of Mind/Body Medicine by
Deepak Chopra, M.D., pursues the relation of quantum energy fields to make the mind/body connection.
My own experience is with Richard Bartlett's matrix energetics (see https://www.matrixenergetics.com), which has many facets, one of them is mixing quantum physics with energetic healing practices. I attended several workshops including Wizard training and still practice some of what I learned.
The question I am asking today, is is the mixing of quantum science with energetic healing workable? What is your experience?
How Quantum Spirituality relates to Quantum Storytelling?
Quantum mechanics and spirituality have been at odds with one another. Most quantum physicists hold their science separate from spirituality metaphysics. Most of the spiritualists look at the observer effect or uncertainty principle in quantum theory, and apply it willy nilly to spirituality, while rejecting the science of experimentation. There are a few who cross quantum with spirituality, to get quantum spirituality. I am among this later group of hybrid folks, doing what I call quantum storytelling. However, there are some differences in this group of fellow travelers.
Today's episode contrasts the quantum spirituality of Amit Goswami, a Ph.D. in quantum mechanics, who pursues the spirituality path with solid grounding in scientific method. See his podcast titled 'Quantum Spirituality' at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IC5y-HgY6Ic&t=6s
I contrast this with Paul Levy, who is also mixing quantum with spirituality, but treats the quantum science more metaphorically, if not loosely. See his YouTube interview done by Raven Sinclaire at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AG9VukfNuNc&t=1976s
One difference in the two approaches to quantum spirituality is how they each understand the observer effect (Schrodinger's Cat), and the uncertainty effect (Heisenberg). These are not the same thing, as our podcast explores. For Amit Goswami, our consciousness is part of the consciousness we have of the universe. For Paul Levy, the world and the cosmos are illusions, and only exist in our socially constructed awareness.
Then we get to my own way of combining Quantum and Spirituality in Quantum Storytelling. I make a distinction between just observing some event, and actually participating in that event. We can observe the sun rise or set, but are we changing it? See the episodes about Mikhail Bakhtin's ethics of two kinds of answerability (the bystander who observes but does not act & the one who participates by intervening in a situation). There is something called observer-bias, and another thing called self-bias (i.e. the Locus of Control). We attribute good things to our actions, and bad things to others or circumstance, etc.
