Great Listen
I’m a truck driver and I’m always looking for a good listen and I have to say this is the best one yet.
One of my fave podcasts!
I just found this podcast and have binged seasons 1 & 2 so far. I absolutely love it! Johnathan is a great storyteller and investigator. I hope there’s many more seasons b/c I’m hooked!
Love it, but…
Great content. The stories are compelling and the host is great. But wow, between the ads, recaps, and outros a 30ish minute episode is 18 minutes of actual podcast. This isn’t an exaggeration. Nearly half of any episode is not actual material. I know everyone needs to get paid, really I get it, but I struggled with this pod due to the lack of content and the overwhelming amount of ads & fluff. An 8-10 episode season is actually equivalent to a 5-7 episode season of a podcast with the standard amount of ads and lack of unnecessary intros and outros. It’s a 5 star podcast without the insane amount of wasted time. It’s a shame really.
