Totally hooked

Patrick has uncovered some amazing lost—if sordid—queer history. His presentation is spot on as he puts these events into their larger context and treats them as cautionary tales. They will shake you to the core, but in a good way. I cried when hearing about Gisberta and have since become more sensitive to the plight of many transgender people after listening to her story. Those two hangings in London too made me think of how much people must have suffered in those days. Keep up the good work!

Love

Gripping stories delivered brilliantly. I’m a lover of true crime and it’s great to have a light shown on lgbt specific crimes. Love love love the hosts demeanor and unwavering ability to make me giggle with his little side comments on the perpetrators.

The perfect mix

Patrick tells stories with honesty, sensitivity, and just the right amount of snark for the ignorant and hateful characters in these stories. Some of these tales have been told, but I find that he always brings something new and insightful to the table. (And just enough activism to remind us that we need to continue to fight for our worldwide LGTBQ+ community!)
