Talks in Circles

Count the number of times Quintus says "very-very" or "many-many" or "various-different" in each of these episodes. For being a master of "many-many" languages, it's painful to hear him use such bland adjectives so often.

Also, Quintus never seems to be saying anything of substance. He talks in circles and will go on tangents that echo throughout the episode. See his Scipio episode — when Quintus uselessly rambles about names and relationships among the characters — for an example of this. His point is oftentimes nothing more than, "This is important for you to know," lacking any justification for knowing it. Anybody can give a high-level overview of plots and characters, and oftentimes that's all you get with this podcast.

On a separate note, Quintus does provide some value in his male lifestyle talks. Young men can benefit from listening to Quintus on topics of personal development, women, and career choices; and I recommend that he stick to those topics rather than create crude lectures on stoicism.

Unbelievably good

This podcast has made me think deeply about how I live my life. But, even better than just that, it's made me change how I live my life. Thank you Quintus.
