Hosted by comedian Jim Tews, “Quitting Comedy” is a sit-down with comics, writers, and performers that focuses on why its guests keep pursuing such a silly endeavor, and what they’d be doing with their lives if they'd taken a different path. It’s a little bit about being a comedian, and a lot about being a person.

Funny, light, poignant

The show has conversations both light and insightful from working comics from New York and beyond. Jim’s years of experience brings out the best in these guests because they know he’s the real deal and are open to commiserate the joys and not-joys of devoting your life to the craft. Always look forward to new episodes and have learned a lot by listening.

Great listen - unsuccessful Comic

As an unsuccessful Comic (by conventional definition), this has been a joy to listen to. It’s easy to get down in the dumps doing comedy, but there are constantly new nuggets of wisdom that anyone struggling in any creative field could relate to. Thanks Jim!
