Karennalani ,

Well conceived and executed!

Great listens 💚 love these both as a companion to the show and even just as a portal into my somewhat dormant fandom - been almost 10 years since I’ve read but now very inspired to pick the books back up! Great hosts!

Funny and insightful WoT content.

Intelligent and funny

I started re-reading the series last year when I heard Amazon picked it up. In the middle of a podcast gap, I took a stab at several new WOT podcasts hoping to land on something that focused on the upcoming show.

So far I’ve really enjoyed Randland. They develop an excellent structure for the episodes, and though comedic references and general joshing abounds, it keeps a great pace on meaningful content and conversation. The production value is surprisingly good for what I assume is a group-of-friends-start-up variety of podcast. There’s some savvy in it which may suggest at least someone on the team knows what they’re doing on the technical side of things.

Their dealings and analysis of important issues surrounding the books, and it’s tv adaptation, in regards to modern popular culture has been on point. They show an intelligence without coming across as pretentious. I appreciate that.

The Role-Playing thing they do every now and then weirded me out at first, but it’s actually kinda fun. (If that sorta thing, isn’t quite your thing, they set it up to easily skip through)

Great job so far!! I hope you all are able to keep it going. Looking forward to that first season!! 🤘
