Today it’s just me, talking about the art of intentional hospitality. With the holidays and fall just around the corner I thought it would be a perfect time to share my heart and tips on hospitality. I will be doing 3 episodes over this Fall season touching on all the aspects of intentional hospitality.
In this Pintrest and social media age where we are constantly seeing images of perfection it can be overwhelming when it comes to hosting people in our homes. It may even make us feel like, “what’s the use?”.
But I believe God has called us to hospitality and that it can look different for everyone. The important thing is to know our intentions. Are we thinking only about our own image or are we considering our guests? I believe shifting our focus from being the “perfect”, hostess to being an “intentional”, hostess that entertains with the idea of making your guests feel comfortable and thought of can make it a joy!
