Do you or does someone you know have a Prodigal Child? Maybe you are or have been the Prodigal in your own family. Today we are kicking off the "Children and Parenting" series with my Cuz, Valerie. Her daughter battled the demon of addiction throughout her life, though she loved God but often the temptation was just too difficult. She went to be with Jesus in December of 2021 just before her 35th Birthday. Val talks with us about her heart as a Momma, how God sustained her and guided her as she walked this difficult path and continues to grieve the loss of her daughter. Our conversation will remind you that God meets us in the middle of our mess and that all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God. While you may be surprised that I'm calling this a redemption story, it truly is. Listen in for some encouragement and wisdom to help you navigate the very hard Holy work of parenting.
