A Podcast for Life

I really enjoy this podcast because I think it focuses a lot more on common day-to-day issues.

Pastor Greg does an excellent job of diving deep into issues like anxiety, envy, racial divisions, current events, etc. People, THIS IS NOT A BIBLE STUDY PODCAST. This podcast is an application of Christian wisdom towards challenged people face day to day.

Other moral issues not mentioned

In a previous sermon, pastor Greg said that personal character and qualifications were important qualifications for leadership. Also, one concept Pastor Greg stated is definitely true - Christians and Republicas have unwisely been linked too closely together. Christians have allowed ourselves to be used because we focused on our beliefs about sexuality and marriage to the exclusion of other Biblical moral values.
Pastor Greg, in evauating party platforms, ignores God's accusation in Exezial 22:29 and 31 that His people "oppressed the poor and needy and unlawfully exploited the foreign resident. . . . So I have poured out My indignation on them and consumed them with the fire of My fury. I have brought their actions down on their heads"
It is important to look at all moral issues in both entire platform. Then make a personal judgment about how Christian moral values can best be achieved. We also have to place a relative value on various sins, something that God does not do. Christ came to change men's hearts which in turns changes men's actions- not primarily to change men's actions their by enacting laws or forcing employees, when then are not at work, to abide by God's standard.
Since the Bible is not clearly Republican or Democrat, evangelical Christians have hindered the spread of the gospel by actions that link our name to one political party or that cause us to be labeled "anti-gay."
