Rich theology / Missional focus
This podcast (and the Renew.org network) is for anyone looking for a third way. As a 28 year-old church leader, I found myself discouraged by the two most common paths presented before me. It has become obvious that progressivism, or theological liberalism, is attempting to tear away foundational Christian teaching and practice, thus leading people far from the God of scripture. Alternatively, sectarianism and traditionalism leads to divisiveness and overall ineffectiveness at making disciples.
The third way (a high view of scripture, focusing on disciple-making) is a breath of fresh air in the current climate and is the path I’m eager to travel. Special thanks to the founders of Renew. I’m confident that the best is yet to come.
