In this episode, I sit down with Heidi Sievers:
Heidi recalls entertaining stories of accidentally bringing a knife to an airport and a harrowing story of a K-9 bitten by a poisonous snake.  We talk about the reality of Forensic Investigations, common misunderstandings of Forensic investigations and the CSI affect.  Heidi provides a great overview of the development of Forensic Science.  Finally, Heidi walks us through her Doctoral Dissertation which concentrates on burnout and traumatization within Forensic Investigators. The findings are very interesting and help to support the need for support in our lives and cultivating a feeling of accomplishment.
